Kelsey provides clear and targeted solutions to create safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces.

Equality, diversity and inclusion practitioner

Over the last decade, my work has been centred on creating safe and inclusive environments, where people are treated with respect and genuinely valued. I use behavioural insights, prevention-based approaches and equity, diversity and inclusion practice to help workplaces establish policy, practice and processes based on respect.

I live and work in the lands of the Palawa-Pakana people, of lutruwita with my partner and daughter. I’ve spent my career working in Melbourne, London and now remotely from my home on the North-West Coast of Tasmania.

“Kelsey raised UCL’s profile internationally as a centre of excellence in tackling bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct. She worked in an impressively short space of time to get people working together across our different functions in a way that had not happened previously. Thanks to her efforts, we now have a reporting system and an organisational risk assessment framework that instils trust in the organisation. She left UCL having achieved an enduring culture shift that will no doubt improve people’s working lives for many years into the future. ”

— Dean Stokes, Director of Planning, University College London

“Kelsey has a cutting edge knowledge of innovative approaches to address harassment and discrimination in higher education. Her deep specialist knowledge as well as her understanding of strategic solutions puts her in a unique position to deliver sector-wide change as well as leading institutional transformation. Most importantly, she takes a survivor-centred approach, without which real change cannot be achieved.”

— Dr. Anna Bull Co-Director of 1752 Group and Senior Lecturer in Sociology, United Kingdom

My approach

I bring an intersectional feminist approach to inclusion, considering how multiple identities and forms of discrimination intersect in the workplace.

I draw on my legal background to provide insights into legal frameworks and best practices related to workplace culture, psychosocial hazards and risks, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

I apply behavioral science in the design of interventions and recommendations, and provide evidence-based and tailored solutions to each organisation I work with.
